1. Who we are
The controller responsible for the personal data collected through this site and through Orbit is ALIEN 2.0 LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, entity ID 7118970, with its principal place of business at 500 4th St NW, Ste 102, PMB 1899, Albuquerque, NM 87102, USA.
Orbit is the brand and software product of ALIEN 2.0 LLC offered through orbitbook.io. You can reach us by email at info@orbitbook.io or by phone at +1 505 537 5237.
2. Data we collect
We collect personal data through the following touchpoints on orbitbook.io:
- Demo booking (Cal.com): when you book a demo through the embedded calendar (hosted at booking.aliendevelopers.com), we collect your name, email, phone number and any answers you give to the booking questions.
- WhatsApp: if you message the Orbit demo number on WhatsApp, the conversation is handled through WhatsApp (owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and Orbit's AI assistant, "Luna".
- Interactive demo ("Try it"): if you chat with the AI assistant embedded from app.orbitbook.io, we process the messages you send in order to answer them.
- Before the chat or voice demo: we ask for your email address and WhatsApp number so we can send you access and, if you need it, help you get set up with Orbit. This data is stored in ALIEN 2.0 LLC's CRM — Kommo, a third-party CRM provider, and our own CRM — and the legal basis is the consent you give by checking the box on the form.
- Ad measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API): only if you accept marketing cookies, we log events such as page view, content view, contact and demo booking. This includes the
_fbpand_fbccookies, your IP address and user agent, and — when you confirm a booking — your email, phone number and name, hashed with SHA-256 before being sent to Meta. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail. - Video and typefaces: the embedded video is served from youtube-nocookie.com and the site's fonts from Google Fonts.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We use the data we collect to:
- Schedule, confirm and follow up on the demo you requested (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).
- Respond to your questions on WhatsApp or the interactive demo (our legitimate interest in handling your request).
- Send you access to the chat or voice demo and follow up with you about Orbit (consent you give by checking the box on the form before the demo).
- Measure and optimize our advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use one strictly-necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice, and, only if you authorize it, Meta's cookies to measure advertising. The full detail — name, provider, purpose, duration and category of each cookie — is in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with the providers we need to operate Orbit, acting as processors or as independent controllers depending on the service:
- Cal.com (booking.aliendevelopers.com) — manages the demo booking.
- Kommo — a third-party CRM provider we use to manage contact and commercial follow-up with demo visitors.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — WhatsApp Business and, with your consent, the Pixel and Conversions API for ad measurement.
- Google LLC — video playback (YouTube, youtube-nocookie.com domain) and the site's fonts (Google Fonts).
- backend.orbitbook.io — Alien's own infrastructure, which relays conversion events to Meta.
- Hostinger — the hosting provider for the VPS infrastructure the site runs on.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including the United States and the European Union. When that happens, we rely on the contractual safeguards and transfer mechanisms each provider offers (for example, standard contractual clauses).
6. How long we keep your data
We keep booking and commercial-contact data for as long as there is an active or prospective commercial relationship with you, and for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless the law requires a different period. Advertising cookies and measurement data are kept according to Meta's own retention periods, described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, for:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion of your data once it's no longer needed.
- Objection to processing your data for specific purposes.
- Portability of the data you provided to us.
- Withdrawal of consent given for advertising, at any time and without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@orbitbook.io.
8. Visitors in Argentina
If you are located in Argentina, the processing of your personal data is also governed by Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP) is the control authority with which you may file complaints related to non-compliance with that law.
9. Visitors in the European Economic Area
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the same rights described in Section 7, plus the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
10. Visitors in the United States
We do not sell your personal information. Under California's CCPA/CPRA and similar state privacy laws, certain uses of the Meta cookies described in this policy may be considered "sharing" data for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of this use at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
11. Children
orbitbook.io is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is material, we will let you know through a reasonable additional channel.
